Luto ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Luto app.

Most data, including recipes, pantry items, meal plans, grocery lists, and saved recipes, is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not upload this data to our own servers.

When you use the AI recipe generator, the ingredients and preferences you provide are sent to Together AI to generate recipe content.

With your permission, the app can read and write nutrition data through Apple Health. Apple Health data remains on your device and in your Apple account.

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment information.

We use the information to provide app features, generate recipes, manage your pantry and meal plans, and log nutrition data to Apple Health at your request.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the third-party services required to provide app features (such as Together AI for AI-generated recipes) and when required by law.

Your data is protected by iOS on-device security. You are responsible for securing your device and any backups you create.

Luto is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
